Uni Filter Quality Air Filter
Unifilter's vehicle specific filter for the Nissan Patrol GU is a triple stage replacement for the original OEM filter. The inner stage consists of a support assembly which locates the Uni Filter into the original filter lid This lid will need to be removed from the paper membrane per the instructions below. The second stage foam is a safety layer and acts as a backup for the outer or work layer. This outer or work layer provides the bulk of filtration, filtering down to as low as 3 or 4 microns (paper filters are rated at 30 to 40 microns). Fitting Instructions:
============
1 Remove original equipment air filter from the air box and heat-off the black filter lid using a heat gun or gas torch.
The original paper filter is held onto the lid with a 'hot-melt" glue and will detach with the help of a screwdriver
or similar implement once smoke is seen coming from the glued area.
2 Remove any excess glue from the inside of the lid by scratching and wiping clean with petrol or turps.
3 Press the large, flat, black seal into the lid and refit the filter using the original wing nut.
4 For ongoing servicing, refer to the separate service instructions included with this filter.

All goods are shipped within 2 business days of receipt of your order. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. When you place an order, you will receive a Tracking Code and an estimate of the delivery date for you, based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. We can only offer an approximate delivery date however, our experience has shown that most shipments arrive at their destination within 2 to 7 days.
Registration and Insurance
All orders sent to Australian addresses are shipped via Registered Post, which includes Insurance cover to A$100. It is extremely rare that our shipments are lost or damaged in transit. All efforts are made by Western Filters to ensure that your goods arrive safely and in a timely manner. However, we cannot be held responsible for Uninsured goods lost or damaged in transit.
Returns
We accept the return of goods which have arrived damaged or are nolonger required, aslong as returned within 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE, on presentation of the purchasing invoice / receipt. Please let us know if you have misplaced or lost your receipt and we will confirm your purchase via your proof of I.d and by our records.
Exclusions:
A refund, replacement, or repair won't be offered or accepted if the purchaser has modified or damaged the product, or have misused the product contrary to mannufacturer's or Western Filter's guidelines.
For exchange, credit, refund or repair we'll require business / personal information and signature in addition to your receipt. All purchases made on a debit/credit card will be credited back to the original card used. We also accept the return of goods where we have sent the incorrect product at no additional cost or if the product has been wrongly described.
For a successful return of an unwanted product the goods MUST BE; (a) UNUSED, (b) Undamaged and (c) REWRAPPED IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING. For the successful return of a faulty or damaged item; (a) contact us via email or phone (b) repackage and await shipping instructions.
Returns Shipping Costs:
While we do ship worldwide, there are certain restrictions and conditions on some products, such as weight, shipping rates and destinations. Please contact us via email or phone for specific information. NOTE: Shipping rates for most items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded off to the next full pound. We are currently using a Flate Rate for all orders.
