Mild steel pipe with a wall thickness of 1.6mm. Perfect for joining exhaust pipes which have differently sized diameters. Mild steel is used in manufacturing many everyday objects including car chassis and motorcycle frames. Mild steel has a low-carbon steel contains approximately 0.05–0.25% carbon making it malleable, ductile and easier to weld. Mild steel is ideal for frames and exhaust pipes as it is less brittle and more flexible than high-grade carbon steel.
